Update on Gen3 Fairings

Considering the Gen3 is still fairly new the tank is $800 the seat is $600 a USED subframe is $750 and some new fairings are $800. With this build being very expensive I lost all hope in the conversion. Then I had an idea. I plan on buying a wrecked Gen3 from an auction and taking the parts off of it. It’s ridiculous on how many bikes there are for market. There are plenty of wrecked Gen 3’s. All from roll overs to blown up engines. There are also whole bikes that were just repoed. Sorry for getting side tracked but with that being said. I feel like this is the cheaper option vs dumping my money in eBay and potentially getting scammed.

Yeah, they aren’t cheap enough where I am (much smaller market than the US or EU) but I’ve been watching the auctions, wreckers yards and private sales. I’m happy to but a wreck at the right price. I’ve picked up a few Gen-3 panels but the just aren’t common or cheap here even in well used repairable condition. I have a stock of Gen-1 and Gen-2 stuff but there’s a big price step up to the Gen-3.
