I am getting fork seals replaced and Dust seals (thanks VMAM1300 or the Dust seals!) and turns out its not the rim that is bent (So I might sell my 05 0Mile Hayabusa front rim)

It is actually my rotor that is bent. If you seen this damage pics from before you will remember this:
PICT0394.JPG

That dark color spot is where it is bent. As you remember that I grabbed the front brake with force it must have pressured it so hard it bent it because I went down on the left side, and my rotor on the right is bent. Left on is perfect.

I found this out by after a quick ride I touched the colored spot and it was hot as hell, I thought that shouldn't be. I touched the remainder of the rotor and it was cool, the left rotor was cool too.

I checked the straightness by looking at it from the side, left was straight, the right one well, it was bent on the color spot so thats where it is rubbing against the pads in that spot.

Now I am looking for a front rotor.

I know bent rotors are probably not a common thing to have happen but its only bent just a bit in that one spot, anyone have any experience with rotors? I am betting that I can just bend it back with a wrench/pliers

Absolutely not.. The rotors must run true or you will have brake judder and ineficient brake performanco.. Only solution is to replace

You are nuts man. That would just make it worse and alot more dangerous.

Not meaning to bash ya or anything but just replace and be safe.

ok I am going to replace it when I find a used one for a good price. Thanksk for the advice, as far as the braking problems I have to pump it 5 times for it to grab like normal, and with the engine on I have NO front brakes when it is applied. Just squezes all the way in with no resistance.

Your posting is scary man...id recommend you take the bike in and get it repaired by a professional.

dont worry, I am getting the fork seals, dust seals, and rotor all done by my local shop. I dont have the tools to do these jobs

Let them take care of your brake hydraulic issues as well....in fact let them look it over from top to bottom to make sure its safe for the road.

Glad you found the problem, but PLEASE!, let the professionals do the repairs. Not trying to doubt your skills, but if you do not have the right tools, things could go very wrong. Brakes are just too dam important to risk it.

If you have to pump the brakes to get it to grab, then you have some serious issues within the calipers themselves as well as your bent rotor. The bent rotor is just a SYMPTOM of the problem and not the ROOT CAUSE of the problem.

When you grabbed a fistfull of brakes, the calipers compressed hard causing excessive heat to build up on the rotor. This caused the warped rotor due the uneven cooling of the rotor after the crash. You may have also damaged your caliper internally which could cause the inefficient operation. The entire system needs to be looked at by a knowledgable mechanic with the tools and skills to fix the problem.

Good Luck

Glad to hear that you are taking it to the shop for some repairs, but I agree that you should have the whole bike looked over.

The calipers are probably fine. The reason for the multiple pumps is farily straightforward. When the bend in the rotor makes a full revolution past the calipers it spreads the pads farther apart. Then when you need to brake it takes a pump or two (don't know about 5) to get them back down against the rotor.

This is very dangerous, as stated multiple times, and should be fixed ASAP.

Try e-bay (scambay) for a set. I have bought a few sets from there over the years, without problems.

Good Luck,
Chris

Lots of used rotors on E-bay. Bent one of mine when the bike was new. Did it unloading from a trailer. Did cause the brake to pulsate or chatter.
