(dadofthree @ May 19 2007,08:44) Remove the mirrors, the rubber just pulls back from the cowling. You'll either have screws or bolts depending on model. Remove the two plastic rivets under the nose toward the motor. Take a nail, etc. and push the center in gently about an 1/8 of an inch and remove rivets. Remove three allen screws on each side of the cowling connecting the nose to the side fairing. Remove two allen screws connecting the upper inners to the cowling near the mirrors on the inside. Gently pull the cowling off and over the mirror mounts and ease it off. Disconnect white connector near relays under clutch handle once exposed. Hope I didn't forget anything. It's early
