us engine spec

Hi could anyone tell me if the engine from a US bike is different to the ones from UK or European bikes & if so what the differences are.

I beleive non-US bike have more emissions equipment on them. catalytic converters? all current US versions do not have cat's on them

I believe they do have cats on the US bikes. Ever take a stock exhaust off? Mid pipes are heavy!!

I think the European/UK models also have o2 sensors.
