Using projector for a daytime running light - pics

I'd like to give props to Iceman!  Him and I are on the same level.  I thought of putting yellow ion bulbs in before I found this board.  I had some yellow ion bulbs on my old SV as the low/high beams.  I also had air horns on it too.

When I decided to get HIDs (I've only had the bike a week) an idea popped in my head and for 2 reason I did this:
1.  Gives me an on/off switch for my HIDs so I don't damage the ballast
2.  Had to upgrade wiring for HIDs anyways for HIDs
3.  Just looks cool IMO

I used two 12v SPDT relays and wire them so that my high and low beam are completely seperate from each other and never on at the same time.  It seemed like an easy task, but you have to make it so you can 100% kill power to HIDs which took a little thinking.  The way I came up with wiring the relays your high beam switch is backward.  High beam = HID; Low beam = new running light.  So during the daytime it'll run only the projector and at night flip the switch and you have HIDs.  I figure it'll make me different from all the other 'busa's out here with only the yellow projector being on during the daytime.    I can list the pinout for the relays if anyone wants them.  I'll try to get some daytime pics and/or video of them in the next few days of it.  I also bought a Xenon 9005 bulb to in case I don't like the yellow

Total Cost:
Yellow Ion Bulb = $3.49
2 SPDT Relays =   $4.80
2 Relay Sockerts = $4.00
Only cost a total of less than $13 I think it was worth it!

Re-wired yellow ion high beam.  Last picture is the yellow ion high beam on my 'busa compared to 8000K HIDs on my Firehawk with same Yellow Ion Fog lights

I took the yellow ion bulb out and swapped it for a Xenon. Looks better/cleaner coming down the road during the daytime IMO.

I just ran a relay and a switch to my HID lo-beam. I can run either the hi or lo beam independently.
