valve clearance

hello! can somebody  give a hand?

the clearance specifications for the intake valves are 0.14-0.23mm, and the clearance specifications for the exhaust valves are 0.18-0.24mm replacement shims are available in 0.05mm increments.....

1)  the intake valve clearance for cylinder #1 is 0.26mm , the shim  size is 2.85mm.  what size shim would be required to adjust the valve to the proper specification range??

and, 2)   the exhaust valve clearance for cylinder #1 is 0.16mm, the shim size is 2.75mm.  what size shim would be required to adjust the valve to the proper specification range?

Do you have a copy of the manual? If not I can e-mail you a copy of the pages you need. If so the charts are on pages 2-11and 2-12. If I did it right you need a total shim of 3.0mm on the intake and need to drop down to a 2.70mm on the exhaust.
