Ventura rack Question

Anyone had any experience on installing one on a Busa. As I've said before, I'm off to NZ on my Busa, and I have like an evening to throw one on, plus throw some braided lines and Pazzo levers on, and was just wondering any tips or tricks to installing the rack.
Any advice greatly appreciated.

6 days and counting to M/cycle nirvana, and first day out we are doing a track day at a track on the Nth Island called Taupo Motorsports! Yeehah!

I've contacted the makers to see what they can come up with, fingers crossed.

Cheers on the cheers!

12 days all up on the Busa sampling gods delight of m/cycling, and the NZ roads. Few cops, few cages, and lots of corners mountains and valleys!!!!!! Full story to follow when I come back, inc pics.

Fook I'm itching to go, and being a fulltime Mr Mum, not having to worry about the kids for those 12 days, (for a change)........the babysitter and the wife can do that!

Enjoy.. looking foward to the pictures/post! I've been using a Ventura rack for years and absolutely love it! Very stable at any speed... If you use the extra zip in pack becarefull under full acceleration, tends to make the front end very light!

He probably is already on the trip . 4 bolts and it's done . Can use with or without the grab bar .

Yep on fading . My first 45 liter bag turned purplish in a few weeks .

Love hate relationship with the Cycle Venture system when two up and loaded down on a ZX-9R . Sticks the front wheel up in the air alot . Some of the problem is the passenger sits right above the rear axle , some is the little engine really gets on the pipe at around 6500 Love it more than hate it though

Busa with modded engine not so bad in second gear with a 17t front . A guy can sure pack alot of stuff in a 54 liter bag . Yes , the travel size hair dryer goes along . The things I put up with

keep all the bolts loose and tighten the forward bolts first..then the rear four.
total install time 20 miutes (if you already have "frankenstien botls out).

I just returnd from 5+ days "out and about" ....my ventura held up well.

Now if I could just get my beetle bags on at the same time! (a work in progress)

Here's a 2 person tent, 20F sleeping bag, fleece blanket full size pillow, inflatable sleeping pad, bike cover, 6 days of clothes, wet sox (for shower), beach towel, pair of sneakers and misc camping gear.......oh, and a roll of TP!
