My bike has it as well and it is a 99'. Starts at 4500 RPM and stops at 6000..........think it has something to do with the counter balance on the crank? I was told it is common by the dealer.

You didn't say what year you have or how many miles are on the bike. If its a new one and you haven't had your first service yet have the dealer check it out when you do have it serviced. It may not be a problem and may just need more miles to break in.

I HAVE A 02 BUSA AND MY FRIEND HAS A 01 AND BOTH BIKES HAVE A SMALL VIBRATION THAT SETS IN AT 4700 RPM, NO MATTER WHAT GEAR YOUR IN, AND JUST ABOUT EVERY BUSA OWNER I'VE TALKED TO SAID THEIRS WAS THE SAME, I'M CONVINCED IT'S NORMAL, ALSO BEFORE I GOT MY BUSA I TEST RODE ANOTHER NEW 02 BUSA AND NOTICED THE VIBES IN THAT BIKE TOO, SINCE I WAS RIDING A 2001 CBR 1100XX BLACKBIRD AND THAT BIKE HAS NO VIBRATIONS AT ALL.

I have an 04 and the vibration starts at 90 mph. This is normal...it means your about to go warp speed. Once I get above 90 she smoothes out very nicley.
