Vin Number check

I posted on here that i looked at an 01 Busa last week and the guy agreed to my price. now i have to vin number but how do i run it to make sure it doesnt come up stolen or in an accident?

Go to the local PD and ask them if they will check it out for you.

They have a pretty bare bones free vin lookup, and then you can pay for a full one (not bad to make sure it's completely on the up and up).

You should check into Carfax.com first, a few years ago, my roommate tried to look up a bike VIN, and it wouldn't show it. For some reason it wouldn't do a bike. So check with them first before you pay their fee
