Forget the weekend... There is a "million" troopers out now. I must have passed no less than 20 from DC to Woodbridge..... They are certainly out in Northern VA. The current problem is that rush hour starts very early on Fridays. Mix that with all of these trooper and you get gridlock at a crazy level... Traffic is at a crawl right now.....

That operation is always going on here, it should be called operation spread a rumor to stop people from speeding.

Effective July 1 in our wonderful Commonwealth of Virginia, any traffic ticket, with the exception of regular speeding, will carry heavy civil penalties (yes, this is a new charge) in addition to the fines and court costs that you will have to pay.

[*]Racing
[*]Speeding in excess of 80
[*]Speeding 20/more above limit
[*]Driving too fast for conditions
[*]Failure to give proper signal
[*]Passing two vehicles
[*]Improper control

[*]Aggressive driving

[*]$900 fine over three years for:
[*]Improper operation/riding motorcycle
