The insurance company is going to pay off the bike (as they should) since it was totalled, but timing just sucks, being out already 2 months from work, we've had to dip into savings (in particular Anthony Jr's college fund) so once I get the check, I'm going to replace what was taken out to catch up on the bills, and I'm not giving up because it tears me up to not be able to get another busa immediately, but I have to be mature and since the wife was never on board with the bike before anyway, she's going to win out for at least the rest of the year until I can save up the rest of the funds to purchase another one.
I'm not going anywhere I hope I can still hang around and get alot of knowledge from all the members of the board, but I do think it sucks that the cager never stopped that ran me off the road (cuz I'd have another bike already) and the money that we were using from Anthony's college fund.
Ride safe guys and gals. I'm not going anywhere (at least not on 2 wheels)

I'm looking at maybe sometime next year this time to save up at the earliest, but I did it before, I WILL do it again

Keep your head up, man. What you had before, you can get again, probably an 07" with the new and improved TRE !!

I applaud your maurity and doing the right thing for your family. That is what make some people here different. It is truly sad how many cats have trick out bike and ride all the time, but don't spend time with or take care of their kids.

Stick around when you can. If you were local I'd tell you to come by and hit a few corners sometimes, so you don't forget how it feels.

Hope everything works out for you. Don't leave the board just 'cause you don't have a 'Busa right now, there's others on here who've never owned one.

Damn that cager...

Exactly "Southside"...some people would rather get a new chrome swing arm for their bike than pay for their kids' school tuition.

Hey Tony. Good to see you posting again. From talking to you I know you will get another bike when its time. You might be getting the new, redesigned, and more powerful stock busa we keep hearing rumors of in a future model year.

Richard

thanks Richard, how is the wrist healing???
I got a few pics I finally decided that I would post up I'll make a new thread and put up a disclaimer about the grossness.

At least you have your priorities straight. Best wishes on healing up and getting yourself back together.

And by the time you get your new bike they will have BNG!!!
