ask your sales rep , if thats where you plan to have your warranty work done , if they wont let you mod , find a dealer that will ! and let them handle your warranty work .

mine said as long as I avoid motor work...all is well.

exhaust, tre, PC3 are all acceptable.

and as noted above....a friendly dealer will help and may even let you do more if you pay them to do the work for you.

I dont really know how it works for you in the US... but from what I have read on this board...

PC, Exhaust, TRE, Frame Sliders... cosmetic stuff should not be voiding the warrenty of your bike! Then again its best to ask your dealership about it!!

Thanks for the informations, my dealer doesnt know what voids the warranty, imagine that, didnt think they would be able to tell if i removed it before taking it for any work that it may need.

If you have your rims chromed that voids that warranty...Actually anything involving chromeing....But powdercoating doesn't....

The way it was explained to my by a zuki tech, he said it was because of the temperature that the part was subjected to. And if you know anything about metal once it is heated really hot it loses its integrity

Actually not heat not always makes metal lose its integrity, they have to heat metal to harden it,etc. I think it has more to do with the way its cooled but im no expert.
