Was Very Lucky Last Night !!

Got home late last night from work. Parked the BUSA in the Driveway. Went inside to Open the Garage. Had an Argument with the Wife. Went Upstairs and Fell Asleep.

Morning came, I showered went to the Garage. Where the FU.. is My BUSA !!!!!!!

There it was, OUTSIDE, KEY IN THE IGNITION and UNLOCKED

HA! I did that when I went riding with a friend downtown.. They let us park the bikes on a sidewalk that isn't really used (full parking) and so after we parked we went walking around and it wasn't till about 20mins later that I realized I didn't have my keys on me!! SO I haul ass back to the bike to find it where hump is. If anything would of happened to it I think I would have seriously killed myself. Glad to say that it will NEVER happen again. I definitely learned from that mistake

*Oh yea I would like to ask one question. When you guys park your bike in public, do you leave your helmets hooked to that helmet holder in the 'trunk'? I see my friend do it but I always feel iffy about it just because someone can come and easily snip them off

For me, it depends on where I'm at. There are some places that I'll just leave the helmet on the mirror or on the ground, next to the kickstand. Others, I'll leave it on the helmet hook. And then there are some places that I won't do either, I carry it with me!

So, I guess the ultimate answer is 'it depends'. LOL

You have to keep them both happy take care of the wife before you leave so you came home to food or her waiting for rounds 3--------....

I've left the keys in the ignition during a 12 hour shift when I worked in T.I. in Dallas. spent another 30 min looking for them and called security to see if anyone turned them in( which they didn't, since they were still there when I went back to the bike to wait for my wife to bring me the spare) would have felt pretty stupid, but I was still recovering from the day after I bought it (about a month before), went to show my friends after work my new ride. after the oos & ahhs it was time to start her up... only to hear nothing. the battery was dead. I had turned the key too far, so the taillight stayed on and killed the battery. at least they were good sports and helped push start me

Glad to hear that I am not the only one who run the battery down doing that

I meant leaving the tail light on.
I only left the key in it at the Harley dealer once. I guess everyone there was afraid of it
