Word is trickling down that State Patrol is cracking down on motorists.
HOV violations are no longer the $200 fine they are posted as. Expect to shell out over $1,000 if they catch ya using the carpool lane with no passenger.
Also, they are now fining for inproper lane changes. Turn signal and proper distance, yes they are actually watching for it now. Odds are to cut down on road rage.
And lastly, for all those who go 5 mph over the limit. Seems the Patrol feels that they are only willing to let 3 mph over slide by. Yep, you going over 63 mph on the highways and they will pull you over.
Last couple of weeks I've seen the State troopers in full force on both I-5 and I-405 pulling people over left and right. Don't know what brought this on but they are hitting drivers of both cages and bikes hard.
