Wasnt the cam chain

Hey guys this is adding on to a post a little while ago titled "cam chain tensioner". I was having problems with the rapid clicking noise and overheating so we pulled the head checked the valves and everything was good. Cooling system is perfect and we replaced the oil tensioner with a mps manual one. After all that didnt fix anything we just tore the whole motor apart.... Bad rod bearings and the connecting rods are toast.

What year and how many miles ? Are you the only owner ? What's the bike been used for ? Has it been taken care of ?

That's some money there. Might as well have the tranny worked if it's a Gen I. Good Luck

Its a 2001 with about 19,500 miles and i bought it a few months ago and i am not so sure the last guy was very competent due to the fact that he sold it to me missing a spacer on the rear axle and didnt tell me (luckily i noticed before i rode it). Does anyone know about anything important i should swap out while i have it apart?
