...as we all head to the spring bash in Robbinsville, it's not lost on any of us that things will not be the same without your smiling face, you constantly looking down at a PDA and posting on the oRg, your more-than-willingness to take us all for some of the best rides on roads you knew like the back of your hand...

And I'm so glad I had breakfast with you that morning when Randy's face was clearly seen on my biscuit  I have such fond memories with you Don, as do all that called you a friend...

We'll all be thinking about you this weekend and we miss you terribly...

...and just think, we all met "on the Internet"

My dad told me once, many years ago..

friends won't give you anything...as the years have progressed I am proud to say he was wrong. If he had been right I would have never experienced the warmth, caring, support, guidance, good times and fond memories Don, Kevin and Mike gave me before they departed this earth...

We remember tham all fondly and in our hearts, not only at the Bash, but daily...

You're right Chelle, we will miss them all.

Thanks for the pic... and reminder...

I think of Don everyday. Here is my screen saver. Don scraping the pegs of my new VTX1800 in Eureka Springs.

You know I don't have a lot of Regrets in my life but I DO Regret NOT Befriending this Guy............

"Geezer Gone WILD "

May the Good Lord BLESS YOU in the Afterlife..............:please:

Being at the bash for the last 4 days, I can tell y'all that the spirit and memories of each of our fallen brethren is alive and well here. Those memories are carried by all the org members in attendance and once you get here, that feeling of being home and with family will overwhelm And comfort you.

I agree Ace... As I was leading my little fan club (Chris99, Bob, and Jeff) on our little tour we rode through Franklin and then 28 and then through the Nantahala Gorge. I had tears in my eyes this whole ride. This was the same route as the last ride I went on with Don. He showed me these beautiful places and each turn I took I could see that Blue and Silver Busa in the curve ahead of me. It made me proud to be able to carry on the tradition.

Unfortunately I never had the chance to ride with Mike or Kevin.. but I did plenty of socializing with them and they were good people too.

I know what your saying Julie. When we were on the sky way I had this flash back of Don disappearing around a curve. I could see that silver and blue busa as if it was really there. I remember the way he crouched when he rode and I remember what his gear looked like while he sat on the bike. It was a cool a mental image. I thought of him many times this past weekend. He is very much missed along with Kevin and Mike.

One of my favorite pics of Don!

I teared up a few times riding on Friday, thinking of Don and the last ride I had with him to the falls. He was truly missed, as are Kevin and Mike. It's not the same, yet it's still so nice to be with the same friends year after year, make new ones...it was a great time :)
