Weather or Warranty??

I recently made yet another top speed pass on my Busa, but this time the results were very different from before. The prior 10 times, when my bike was stock, the most she ran was 200 indicated and then stopped pulling as if hitting an invisible wall. Yesterday she ran up to 212 mph indicated no problem and based on the way she was still pulling i believe she would have hit 220 mph indicated, but i had to slow down for a corner. The only changes from before were: 65f (normally 80f or higher in Tampa, FL.), i had the warranty work done on the fuel system & cam chain & akropovic full system. What caused the major increase in speed??? Does 15f make that big a difference? I doubt it is the pipe. Is the fuel warranty problem really that restictive? FYI same road on an R1 all i got was 180 mph indicated! The Busa accelerated harder from 200 than the R1 did from 160 mph! Busa Rocks!

This is one of many post you will get on this subject.1) Wind in the area will play a part.
2)How tucked were you.
3)Air temp and humidity plays apart as well.
4) how good are your eyes at that speed?
5) never trust a speedo.
