How is western civilization doing any worse than during it's inception?

The US endured a civil war, indian wars, riot wars, a stock market crash and depression, world wars, many, many mass shootings (too many to count)......and now someone is saying it is heading towards a collapse....if that's the case, it's been headed there ever since it became a civilization.

...not buying it for one second. You would be better served to shut that trash off, go outside and not worry about all this stuff you are watching and reading..

If such a thing were to happen, worrying and fretting about something you can do nothing about makes little sense.

We are not the country we once were. In WW2 we had Russia on our side to fight the Nazi's while fighting the Japanese at the same time. Now, we don't have the manufacturing, we don't have the raw materials, we don't have the mentality in our military to win like we once did. I am not saying that at the top we don't have good military minds... that isn't the issue... its is what has happened at the lower levels.

If we have too fight wars on two fronts... we will be in big trouble if China decides to stop importing goods to America.

Now, we don't have the manufacturing, we don't have the raw materials, we don't have the mentality in our military to win like we once did. I am not saying that at the top we don't have good military minds... that isn't the issue... its is what has happened at the lower levels.

I agree with all of that but there is no sense stressing about it...nothing can be done now, it doesn't matter who is in power....the pendulum has swung too far.

We look at WW2 China and the US (and other countries) were there supporting them against the Japanese...we roll to today and China has emerged as a force generator which is in decline just like many other countries.

We can even talk about what goes on in politics in this same thought.....you cast your vote and your guy didn't win, there is little else you can do as a respectable, law abiding citizen....others cast their vote and their guy did win...it's as simple as that.

Opinion vary considerably on what happened during the early hours of Nov 4th 2020. It appears that issue will be in dispute for eternity.

The saddest part is that the guy installed now is no where near being capable at being proficient in the position as president. His decisions carry little effect moving forward anyway... his handlers, whomever they may be are telling him what to say ( those orders were approved by the fascist leftist billionaire class ) and to shut up with any off the cuff remarks that he might be inclined to make.
The fact remains, he doesn't heed all advice given to him by his handlers and the press was coddling him for as long as they could so his verbal mental blunders wouldn't get through via the MSM. Once his usefulness expires he will end up on the political scrap heap with the rest of em.

All I can really do at this point is conserve my resources and protect what I can.

I sure would like 5+ acres in northern Arizona with water, solar, and food growing systems like I see the well equipped people I know have in place right now.

I have a standing offer to move to South Dakota anytime things start getting to out of control here in Socal.

In my personal opinion, neither the current or recent president of the US is/was up to the task.

Biden is way past his best before date and Trump was....well Trump....neither are good in their own ways.

I think the alarmists are beating their drums to see who answers...if people ignore them, they will eventually go away. The first world problems we face here in North America pale in comparison to many other regions who suffer through life each and every day. Who is doing anything to help those people? Nobody is the answer to that question.

Citizens still believing the election was fraudulent will be the downfall of the US....if the very fabric of your democracy isn't trusted, each and every election will be deemed fraudulent by individuals...the first attack on democracy Jan 6 saw the insurgents unarmed...it may not always be the case...imagine if that same insurgency was a shooting attack....

Once this becomes mainstream, the US will become a larger, more dangerous version of Somalia where vigilante justice and chaos is the norm-nobody is safe and no country will do business with them.

The mistrust in the federal government is many decades old and growing. Why is it growing? A number of reasons. Number 1 is the lies coming our way right now especially thru the media. #2 Is the discovery regarding certain events that takes time to surface. When people have the right reason, or are tired of keeping secrets, or seek revenge, or a list of other reasons they want to let the truth be known, or the court is ordering them under oath soon to tell the truth... then, and only then do we get the truth "they" want us to believe.

The MSM is only telling us what they want us to know, however, there are exceptions as Tucker
( not news ) is enemy number one by libs because of the truth and understanding that is his opinion so eloquently magnified daily! lol !

Here is one bit of information that has not been revealed yet At George Bush Senior's funeral envelopes were handed to the Bushes, Obamas, and Clintons... but, not the Trump's or their family members.

I wonder if what those envelopes contained? No response could be read on the faces of those opening their envelopes and reading what it said. I did noticed Jeb Bush didn't look too happy after folding it up and stuffing it in his pocket. Anything to do with George seniors time as director of the CIA or during his presidency? The timing of those envelopes being delivered when they were says to me its something to do with the Bush legacy and possibly the future legacies of the other two families. Will any of those legacies be tarnished by scandals and skullduggery of the political kind? Or, will those be legacies that instill trust in the American public? I think you know the answer to that.

And citizens that believe that bringing about change by undermining the supreme court process, the voting process, publically terrorizing elected officials on planes, in restaurants, at their homes, refusing to address the elected president as Mr President, serves to do nothing but tear apart the system that took the U.S. from 13 colonies owned by England, too the most powerful nation in the world in less than 200 years. We will be owned by China as this process continues.

Proclaiming this as progressiveness is the entire opposite of what is happening.
