First time out on the renovated Busa I was really ripping it up. Had those expensive Rizoma mirrors and couldn't see chit behind me. Cop followed me for 5 minutes and I was none the wiser. He finally lit me up and I never saw the guy until his lights were flashing off the trees. He said he had me doing 150! I used my quickest thinking: Officer I am so stupid! I just finished building this bike and I was out testing it. I never even thought about the danger I was putting you, the community, and even myself in. I got no excuses except I forgot I'm an experienced, mature ride. Ok, what is the damage going to be?

It worked, he let me go! I use Gixxer 1K mirrors now, dammit. Hooked up the radar again too.

The bar end mirrors I've used don't seem to rattle. They are harder to look into though than regular mirrors.

do like my gixxer1k mirrors.. just wish i could find them in glass and not a plastic lense

I'm waiting to see if the gen 3 mirrors will fit a gen 2.....

Until then, my Gixxer mirrors are working for me.
