After waiting and searching around here with no luck, I took a lil ride over the mountain to a guns and ammo store in Gardnerville. Walked in, found the ammo on a shelf full of ammo, not behind any counter or locked up, picked up the boxes and used a CC and walked out. Of course I don’t resemble a foreign born terrorist nor am I a 17 year old, but compared to California which requires a federal ID, drivers license, and a completed DOJ form listing the amount and type of ammo (and some sort of computer check) or w/o a federal ID, you have to produce a certified copy of your birth certificate along with a regular ID like a drivers license. Prices were kind of steep but not nearly as high as they are here. Now to find a range and do a lil shootin!
