What did you have for Supper?

In Oklahoma, your noon time meal is dinner, and the evening meal is supper. We decided to mix it up a little tonight. This may also be considered a regional food, but hey, dont knock it till you try it. Check it out. We love to have breakfast for supper and you have to have bacon and eggs.

Thats right folks, chocolate gravy. Its yummy in my tummy!

With three boys in the house, a package of bacon, 1/2 a dozen eggs, 20 biscuits, and a pot of chocolate gravy lasts about 8.5 minutes.

We just finished off Pasta Carbonara... Darrell's Momma's style... 1 pkg of bacon, 1 onion, 1 pkg of mushrooms.. 1/2 pint of whip cream and 1 cup of shredded parm. served over penne pasta .. then lots of bread, pesto and olive oil... I'm STUFFED

I LOVE chocolate gravy!! I grew up on the stuff.. then my mom claimed amnesia and said she didn't know how to make it anymore.. I think it was my expanding waistline that induced the amnesia.

I think having supper on Sunday in mid afternoon is a Southern thing because we do that here in Texas as well. Today we took our little human garbage disposal to Olive Garden for their Never Ending Pasta Bowl. He is only six, but he can put away the pasta!
