hello all

I am getting my new DME extended swingarm next week and getting a shop to install it. I am wondering. What else do I need to buy and or replace for a smooth install

Thank you in advanced

Did you get a longer chain? New sprockets? Maybe ceramic bearings while it’s apart?

What are your plans for the bike?

Longer chain is needed, and the license plate will probably be in the way depending on how long u went.

Ceramic bearings, new sprockets, lowering links, sticky tire, extended tail section, all that isn’t needed but u might want it depending on how much money u wana blow.

Im curious How much are they charging?

Not yet so chain sprockets bearing. What about brake line and abs line ? Is that needed ?

If it’s just for looks, just get a longer chain and maybe lowering links. And a longer brake line, I forgot about that. Skip the rest.

$380 seems kinda high if you’re supplying all the parts but maybe the gen 3 requires extra work, idk. It’s about a hour, maybe hour and a half of work with the right tools on a gen 1.

For example my DME Swingarm is 2-6 over stock and STD 4.0 adjustment. My core moto rear brake line lenght is + 6. I hope this info helps.

Good call. The chain is required I used 150 links. They will cut the excess. How many inches over stock are you planning to go? Right now my busa is 62 inches wheelbase
