THIS IS LIKE A 25 YEAR RECORD HIGH FOR US!!!

Updated 5/15/07 9:45 am

When I went to Las Vegas in 97 I paid 1.52 for a US dollar, and this is the highest I have seen our dollar since. I know of course it is not our dollar gaining strength, its the US losing ground.
I heard that if the Canadian dollar was ever .95c USD, that there would be a huge crash and fallout would wipe out North American economy to the point of no return.

While I enjoy being on par with our Yankee buddies, I am scared as to what it means long term. Any thoughts?

it means you should invest in the peso because everything is getting made in mexico now! that and the yen!

It means Canada is the #1 exporter of oil to the U.S. and is reaping the benefits of high prices.....and my Canadian oil stocks along with it.
