What is a good coolant besides evans.

I was wondering what a good coolant or combo's that people are using that works and will reduce the temp a bit and protects the system.

I have cleaned out that gunk for the second time out of my overflow tank. Anyone know how to get rid of this gunk and keep it out.

Any help will always be apreciated.

how much does it take?is it the same as prestone. i have never heard of this stuff before with no mixing. do you just take the old coolant out or flush it. it sounds like a good product. i will probably order

Just add a little over 3 ounces of "Water Wetter" to your cooling system and it will keep you running in the cool zone. You may need to remove some of the coolant currently in the system as you don't want to over fill or overly dilute the solution.

It was almost 100 degrees here in Washington, DC yesterday and my bike would only get to just below the halfway point on the temp guage at a stand still. Before the "Water Wetter" it would go to just above the halfway pointon the temp guage at a stand still.

You should be able to find the stuff for roughly 6 bucks at any good auto parts store.

Good luck.

the real thing to consider when choosing coolant is how much temperature it takes to boil.remember there are hot spots that can cause steam pockets (cooling contact voids)it is crucial to keep surface contact at all times!then you want whatever shows the best disipation rate too
