hello,

Just was wondering to add on to my other post.. what is need to change (body and internally) if i decide to go with the hmf high mount exhaust? thanks

gib

My understanding is that you don't need to modify anything. I think those that get a full system (as compared to slip-ons) usually get a Power Commander, and a map.

Oh you may want to investigate a PAIR removal kit as well...

A LOT of Patience

As they say; "Nothing is as easy as it looks"

But with patience and time, you'll do OK

No changes needed. Just get the system and follow the directions. It is a slow process with a few tweeks and some extra spacers. But overall, no big deal. Get a PCIIIUSB and a good map (contact NJ) and your ready to go...
By the way, if you do the HMF dual high system and the PC, you will be amazed at the increase in performance...

Aicwould, I just responded to your other post about exhaust system and answered some of these questions...
The HMF comes with heat tape for the close tolerance areas near the headers so you don't melt your plastics...also you can order from HMF some extra squares of the tape...when I replaced my lowers I called them up and ordered some

Another option instead of the heat tape is get the header and mids Jethot coated. That is what I am going to do when I order my HMF setup.

Do the pair valve block off too.

I did all at the same time so I don't know about the turn signals being in the way?
Dual high mounts look SWEET with an undertail!

IMO
