So i drop my rifle off at the armory for the day, and this is what I see...

Someone is in serious trouble :poke:. And I'm sure someone else is extremely lucky or extremely hurt :poke:

And that is exactly why YOU CAN NEVER GET COMPLACENT. I watched a guy shoot a 9mm round thru the floor of a temp building on Fort Campbell one day (chain of custody/stupidity); I used it as a teaching point for the next 10 years.

he lost rank and he lost his MOS and souldn't work in my armory anymore. permanent S4 shop b**ch.

:rofl::rofl::rofl: AWESOME!
Exactly what should happen! In my opinion I have noticed that small first time infractions get more harshly punished sometimes than larger ones.. At least in my MOS and unit

Yep, there's a 5.56mm hole through the wall of our training center... One guy loaded the M16 with "dummy rounds" for a training exercise, and then handed it off to another guy who pulled the trigger. Needless to say, the first guy is no longer in the nuclear field. Somehow, the fellow who pulled the trigger got off the hook on that deal.

Stupid is what happens just before you lose your clearance.

So, can you tell which side the round came from, inside or outside?

It must've been from the inside, because if it'd been discharged from the outside there would be blood all over the bricks from where someone got ripped a new a-hole...

That's almost as good as firing the spotting round on a SMAW in the armory..

Some memories are just priceless!
