What is Zuke saying?

The performance differences between the two bikes are minimal. The B-King has its own valve dimensions to produce smooth, extraordinarily strong low-end power. And it has some unique chassis components, such as its finely crafted swing arm.

Are they saying it has different valve dimensions. Every bike has its own valve dimensions. And if it has an extraordinarily strong low-end, does it sacrifice top speed?

Just curious what the real differences are.

The air-box is different, exhaust, thus making a slit dip in hp from the busa, otherwise there the same motor, tranny

No ram air, exhaust more resrictive, my stock unrestricted b-king went 181mph best pass at texas mile and stock unrestricted busas was doing in the 190's.

OK, so besides not having a lot of plastic why would I want a B-King? Does it have a more comfortable riding position, is it more cruiser oriented. :snap:

I've ridden both motorcycles -the B King has a near standard riding position and is way more comfortable than the busa's sportbike ergonomics. The B King does not quite have race replica handling however in "real world riding" it is way better in turns then any cruiser and soaks up bumps limps and holes a lot more willingly then any race replica... It is a bike that is as fast as any cycle stop light to stop light. There are only a hand full of bikes that can outrun it at top speed and from my experience it makes a good commuter and day tripper because of it's comfortable ergonomics. I hate to say this but the B King is probably best described as bike for guys who are ready to transition away from the sport bike "push up" position but don't want to give up any speed, power and torque!!!

My B-King was ALOT more comfy than my new busa, handled just as good and seems to have been just as fast, it was not near as comfortable for my girlfriend, that was the only reason i got ride of it actually, but i do like the busa, seems to be alot better top speed wise in the aerodynamic department, which makes sense.

I understand the cams are gound with a shorter lift and longer duration.

Apparently equals more torque at the expense of higher rpm.s

I could be full of S*&T though.

I heard the B King is a hair faster off the line but the hayabusa will run it down... I can't tell them apart speedwise as a rider. Both are stupid fast. I suspect the guy who twist the throttle with no fear would prevail on either motorcycle.

On a personal note I've owned both (2 Hayabusa) and the B King ride is way better. In my opinion it has all the best attributes of the busa (engine and raw power) with out the sports bike ergonomics...
