What map should I be using?

Hello everyone, I just finished installing my full hindle 4-2-1 system and PCIIIR along with the small airbox mod. And I loaded the map from the PC website that says " m312-011: Hindle full exhaust and stock or aftermarket air filter". Is that all i need? the bike runs fine but i hear a lot about custom maps, am i safe to be running this map or do i need to get something else? thanks in advance.

I think you will be fine with the map that you got off the PC website. But if you want to see what kind of power your bus is really making find a authorized tuning center in your area and put your bike on a dyno. I had a custom map put on my bike after I had some trouble with flat spots throughout the rpm range. I think this may have been due to some of the other mods that I had done, and didn't have the funds to get a custom map at that time. I put a custom map on my baby and you talk about a world of difference, wheeeeew. I now have a true 200+ mph beast.

You should be fine, But for max power get dyno tune!

It sounds like you will be fine to me, it you want every last ounce of power you can get then go ahead and dyno tune it with a custom map.
