...you should be able to get one for less than 11k out the door....I had one as low as $10,400 in MA, but bought one for $10,800 so as to buy from my local, trusted, unserstanding, and muy sympatico dealer, rahter than tring to squeeze the "best" possible deal out of the situation...I won't give money to a group of people I don't want to do business with just cuzz the flaunt the lowest price...but you should get into one for less than 11k...although some can sell for less than others, no one needs to make that much of a profit margin, and the season is progressing past the peak sales period...see if you can find out about the reputation of the dealer's service dept....my dealer has the same core of people in charge for many years, and the turnover rate is very low....one new guy in service in like four years, and no one out...this is why they have such a good reputation, can do such proffesional work, and why it is worth paying a higher price for a bike from them than I could have gotten by scrounging for the lowest possible price...I generaly make up for it in the reasonable and non inflated service charges over the next year...not to mention the fact that only competent, experienced people work on my bike...how much is that worth? These are things to keep in mind when choosing where to purchase an new bike...the "bottom line" isn't everything, yet we so often lose sight of the fact in dealing with "stickershock", often to our own dissadvantage...
