Hey Org Members:

Well, I had time to reflect on my trip to and from the Bash and the Dragon! Man, what fun and an experience!!! Meeting all of you first, was awesome. I have been associated with groups before. But never had such a warm invitation. I just showed up at the Philips before going to the Fontana Inn. I wanted to meet you all and see what I was in for. The first people I met ere Semi, Skooty, and Omar. Felt welcome right from the start. Then I made my way to meeting the rest of the group. Ozzy, Mr. Ninja, GSXtacy, and the others!!! By the way thanks for the offer of staying in the same room. It made it easy for me to stay with the group and getting to most of you who were there!!! It also allowed the chance to make new friends and share stories, as well as many laughs.

Then being at Deals Gap!!! Wow!!!!! The roads and the scenary!!!! Breath taking!!!!! Words can not describe the feeling and emotions that went through my mind as I rode through such beauty!!! I did something like this 3 years ago in the Shennadoah Valley of the Blue Ridge Mountains! It was great to feel that all over again.....long over due!!!!

Last year was a bad year for me, with a life crimpling injury and a long term relationship that failed. Many ups and downs emotionally and pshyicailly. Stressed out beyond any normal person should be put through etc. I started my healing process sometime in Dec. 07. One was getting my life back, doing things that made me happy (Hello 08 Hayabusa!). Two, making new friends. Three, get out and see the world that we live in. Four, to fill my heart and soul again!!!!! Five, to keep from making the same mistakes again!!!

I lost myself when I was there! Something that again I can not put into words, but in a smile! In the way I have been feeling!!! The memories made that I hope like hell will never go away! Thank you all!! I had fun and look forward to doing this again!!!!

NCbusa it was a pleasure to ride with you and to meet your family! Killboy has a nice picture of you and son on the back. Enjoyed our talk at the Sky way!!!!

Then in the evenings the get togethers with those who stayed out late at the fire!!!! You all know who you are!!!!

All great memories imprinted into my mind!!!! Great for the Heart and Soul!!!!

You have experienced something that many of us can only dream of ever doing. If I had a way to get my bike down there and the ability to convince my wife to let me go...I would probably still be there!

lol. yep that was me. not on the bycicle if I need to clarify.! I agree it was a great time overall. would have liked it better if things had been orginized a little better but no matter. Had a blast going through the dragon with you and our route down 28. Imagine how that would be if they had it paved. wow. Hope to see you in the fall. Look forward to chasing u through the dragon again!!! Glad to see you made it home safe my friend.

I wil keep an eye for the fall get together!!! Gone for 5 great days and things fall apart. To much going on here with my personal life. Sorting things out with the current g/f which has been hard. An employee/friend had passed away earlier this week. Won his fight with luekema, but got a staff infection which killed him. Another employee/friend had a heart attack. He is slowly recovering, but will have to retire. The reflection on my trip has kept me centered!!!!! Life is to short and learning how to make the best of it!

Tim - It was good meeting you, Bro!

I probably won't make the Fall Bash

It was good to meet you Tim. This trip was pretty emotional for me as well. Never been there, never seen roads like that. I was excited and giddy the whole trip. My wife and I really needed this break from the daily grind of life. Cant wait to do it again, my therapy. Come on Eureka!
