Well,
I think it's about that time, time for my Hayabusa and I to part. It's been a great couple of years, and i've enjoyed riding it long distances as well as venturing into the drag racing world. I'll be finishing college in 4 semesters and the money would help me immensely post graduation, as well as saying the $200 a month on insurance would be helpful. I've been trying to streamline by budget so that I can move comfortably and try to begin the professional life.
The question arises, what should I ask, or advertise my bike or sale as? I know it's not an investment piece and I'm prepared to lose a lot of money on it haha.
Some of the mods are as follows:
McIntosh/Brocks Swingarm
EK ZZZ chain
Extended black brake line
airtech extended tail with tail light (integrated turn signals)
Tiger tail, powdercoated black
Vortex rear sets
trimmed drag seat and factory seat
Yosh r-55 full exhaust
pipercross filter
gsxr 1000 velocity stacks
Boost by smith ecu editor set up with air shift harness and nitrous harness
zero gravity double bubble
mirror block offs
bar end mirror
brocks front strap set up
mps nitrous kit
pressure pro
converted to flare jet setup
all stainless lines
lees air shifter bracket
air shifter set up with air compressor and hobbs switch
kill switch tether with switch
front lowering clamp
I know i've left a lot of parts off the list, and i've got a lot of parts that are uninstalled that i can include. I'm just to the point that saving $200 a month on insurance, as well as being able to live somewhere without a garage (easily saves me another $200 a month) would be great. frankly, $300-$400 a month over the next 24 months adds up, and that kind of plays heavy into my decision as I'm trying to venture out into the professional world on my own.
The bike has 10,200 miles and has been well maintained. comes with an extra set of clutches, has the clutch mod etc. i just keep thinkign of more stuff haha
I was hoping for around $9,000 USD, I hope this isn't too far off base, maybe even on the low side haha.
The input is helpful and the ORG has been great to me the past few years!
Thanks guys,
Stephen
