What to do with the left pipe bracket?

What in the world can be done with the left pipe bracket/foot peg bracket if I get rid of the dual setup? What in the world should I do with the remaining eyesore? maybe remove the entire bracket and cut off the bottom portion of the bracket, then polish it, or do you think it should be left alone? After all I am trying to preserve the looks of "THE BEST" looking bike ever produced!

well, you almost said it in your post. i for one will leave the original bracket in place. i will simply, (now this is weird) put a big blue glass eye in the hole. lol sorry, but i'm serious. eyesore = glass eye. get it? i think it will be some serious conversation piece in the future. but i certainly wouldn't cut it. remove it maybe and get like a tlr rear peg but don't cut it.
