Whatever happened to the Norton Nemesis?

I remember a few months ago when it was rumours to be the next fastest, baddest bike in the world. Now I don't hear even a rumour about these bikes, what gives. With the Busa and ZX-12 at very affordable prices, performance wise the Nemesis won't be much of one to our bikes, except for being unique.
Oh well, I guess Not-run is nothing more then a pipe dream eh?

I have money down on one now. It is supposedly to be released in the late spring or fall. I guessed I would rather have a Nemesis than a SUV. I am still keeping the Busa.

well if the norton nemisis is as fast as they say as it is going to be, we are all going to look foolish. Especially me.................and that includes the zx12 people as well. All of this discussions over the fastest bike....................will have been for naught. I think that it serves us right. You know I just plain enjoy the busa even though i bought it initially cause it was the fastest............

Just imagine what you could do with your Busa if you wanted to spend $40 grand total... an extra $30 grand for aftermarket parts, machine work, and tuning would even beat frank's bike :)

You could even pay Yoshi to do up a one off custom.

4oK! golly, you could buy a dirtbike a sportbike a cruiser a trailer a jetski and a 4 wheeler, hmm, 2 plus 2 still equals 4 doesnt it?

The Nemesis IS a very cool looking bike. But as I said in an earlier thread, look out for the first year on this thing! A flat crank 60 degree V-8, if you don't run over the crankshaft on your first try out, I'd be impressed. Plus the in line mounting of the engine, could be hard to hang on to. Anyone ever try to dive a turn on a shaft driven bike? It pulls you over when you get on it. 1500cc is a lot of motor to hang on to. Still, I hope it works. Any one who buys one will have one bad *** machine!
