wheel chocks for the new hauler

i have been checking the existing threads, along with extensive internet checks, and cant seem to get a definitive answer as to which is the best chock. i want it secure, maybe double duty as a track stand, and not needing to compress the forks. i would love to hear from anyone with real world experience. they are not cheap, so i dont really want to throw away any cash. i just picked up this little baby - seats are already removed, and will be using it for a trip down to the BRP again this year with some buddies, as well as trips to the track. not sure how the inside will be finished, but i need to know how much room i need for the bikes. i am hoping to be able to put 4 in the back, and if need be, use my trailer like last year for another 2.
as always, thanks in advance

i really like what i see about the baxley. i just want to be sure i get the best. i traveled 1600 miles last year with the bikes strapped down to my home made chocks, and it went smoothly, but with the bus, they will be closer together. i want to be sure that they wont move side to side, and with minimal straps required due to how close they will be together.

I honestly would have no problem using the Harbor Frieght chocks for what you are describing. And they are a fraction of the cost of the Baxley

Nice bus, Got a couple of them myself, thought about making one into a hauler also.

Its a Allis-Chalmers HD-15 1952 model, Hand clutch and steering and foot clutchs, it is old and big and slow but it gets the job done, runs like a top

They are great for clearing fence rows and digging ponds:thumbsup:

Yup. Have 4 of them. Never had a problem. Only use 2 straps at the passenger rearsets
thanks for the info. i would not have considered this type to be secure, but that is the benefit of a group like this. i emailed them on shipping to canada. will have to wait to hear how much they are going to gouge me.

Get the Baxley's and be done, you can install a mount kit in the floor, roll bike in and hook straps right into the chock from rear,no forl compression. You get to the track unload each bike ,take chock out and set on ground in pit roll bike into it walk away...

We can ship them to you in canada if needed, many colors available...

I have the Baxley, and Harbor Freight chocks, both work great. Harbor freight also makes one on the order of the Baxley.
