bounce it a little and hammer it high in 2nd around 6-8k or clutch it up, excelerate kinda hard and hit the wheelie button aka fan your clutch while keeping hard on the gas.
double check your crash insurance and wear your gear. maybe put on some race rails til you get it down  i mean til you master the wheelie not fall down. practice in a parking lot with little hops then bigger hops til you can get it up to where you want. there are a few wheelie aids out there too.
good luck, and let us know how it goes.

LOL!! Calm down guys, I'm no evil kanieval.(for those of you who remember him) I'm just in love with my bike and want to play a little. Everybody has to start somewhere. Thanks a lot red. That's what I was thinkin. I just wasn't sure where to launch from and wondering how to release the clutch. I would rather look stupid and ask to learn the right way first, than to go out and put myself on my back. Measure twice cut once!

30-35mph, close the throttle, the front will dive slightly then crack hard on the throttle as you feel the front suspension coming back up - you should get a power wheelie out of it which is much safer than a clutch-up imo for beginners. Seen guys get in trouble real quick dumping the clutch at too high of an rpm.

See how your bike feels...the Busa is harder to wheelie than say a 500 thumper. You need a good sense of balance for sure. 1st gear wheelies are easy - get up to the power band of your bike - sit back on the seat - push the front forks down and on the way up hammer the throttle. Once you feel it start to come up back off a tad on the throttle to keep it in the balance point. You can use the rear brake if you feel yourself going too high up. 2nd gear wheelies usually take a power move with the clutch. Get your bike in 2nd and up to the power portion of the engine revs. Grab a handful of clutch - hit the throttle push the front end down a bit and snap the clutch out. Again watch your lift and control it with the throttle. Lots of bikes can shift up once you get the balance point as well. I tend to blip the throttle a lot which keeps the bike rocking back and forth at the balance point. It allows me to shift without the clutch as well so I don't loose that split second of power. It takes lots of torque to keep the bike up so you'll need to find the sweet spot between balance and rev's to keep it up there. I've got a 600 Husaberg thumper that will wheelie all day in all gears and feels really comfortable. The Busa, not so much. I can do up to about 3rd gear and then it gets weird.

Good luck. I can tell you, that I've pulled all of my bikes over doing wheelies - except the Busa. Your arse can get plenty sore so wear your gear and be prepared to buy some parts. Have fun.
