When to buy a B-king

Prices are falling like a stone in South Florida. I REALLY want one, but are prices going to collapse further? Has Suzuki made any noise about spare part availability?

Regards,

Gary

Prices fell over here in the UK, not any more, people now see the B King as a great buy now, I like you had the Blackbird, nice bike did everything right but a very boring bike to ride, I have also had loads of V Maxe's, a real fun bike to ride, it would shake its head at about 115mph, but it was still my fav bike, even though it did not handle in the twisties, but I have to say, the B King is the best bike I have ever owned, with its upright ride position it is in many ways like the V Max, it looks a bit of a lump, but believe me, the acceleration is like nothing else, and it really handles in the twisties, get a demo ride on one, and you will do anything to own one, I was going to get the new V Max, but believe me, I dont want it no more, or any other bike out there, if it cost more than the V Max, I would still get the B King, you can get two B Kings for the price of one V Max and still have change, I have now got the best bike of all time, and no production bike on the planet will get past you if you dont want it to.

Prices here in the North East seemed to have bottomed around 9k. At some point the supply is going to dry up. As far as parts go they are mandated to supply them for the next ten years. The other reality is that the B King is largely a part bin bike, The drive train busa, the forks seem to be GSXR100 brakes from a busa. So getting parts doesn't seem that difficult. Aftermarket stuff on the other hand is limited particularly here in the states.
I love my be king it is the perfect compliment to my 05 Busa but since it is an orphan bike the first thing I ordered for it was a shop manual

Figure i'll chime in as a manager for a Suzuki dealership...with rebates and holdback you might be able to score a King for $8500-9k at the present time (I know I did ). After a conversation with my dealer rep, don't look for prices to go lower considering the bikes are flying out of a lot of dealerships at the current price point. As for parts, not worries, they'll be available for quite some time. Trust me, i'm the Service Manager and just bought one for myself!

Two months ago my buddy and I found two B Kings for sale at a central Florida dealer for 7850. With tax, tags, and dealer fee, the out the door price was 8750. The dealer had bought inventory from foreclosure proceedings on other dealerships. I didn't think the price would go any lower because of the B King vs Vmax article that came out with the King on top so we decided to pull the trigger. I found the deal on Cycle Trader.

I still can't believe I have a naked monster with a Busa mill and top end components for the price of a Versys or Gladius. Thank you Suzuzki for mounting the batman pipes on this amazing machine. It let us value buyers steal off with the ultimate street bike.

08 B King (black) Yoshi pipes & fender eliminator
07 Bandit (black) Holeshot goodies galore

I just got my B-King a week and a half ago(already have almost 1,200 miles on it) and I've got to say it's probably the best deal I've ever made on a bike.

As far as spare parts are concerned, '09's and '10's are being sold in Europe(and Canada, I believe), so spare parts shouldn't be a problem. There are quite a few aftermarket items available from European suppliers as well.

To think that I was able to purchase a bike with perhaps the best engine in motorcycling, with an "all day" riding position and a "unique" look for less than the price of a "cookie cutter" 600cc sportbike is just amazing.

I'm absolutely thrilled with my purchase. If you're thinking about getting one......do it now before(as was mentioned previously) supplies dry up, especially as people find out how good this bike really is.

there is a B-King at riva motorsports in pompano for 8,899 w/ lojack zero miles if anyone is looking for one, dont know if thats a good deal or not, but just giving you guys that are looking at getting one a heads up

I could be wrong, but I think there's a federal law that mandates the availability of spare parts for a number of years, post-production. I think you're safe, no matter what Suzuki does with the bike.

I believe the Mandate is 10 years but that is almost irrelevant as the King seems to be a largely a parts bin bike. The drive train is clearly Busa the forks seem to be Gsxr 1000. I love my mine.

I want another one, they are awesome.

hm, i want to go ride a bking now. there aren't any owners in town unfortunately

Spare parts must be available for 10 years. (It's the law)
