A oil pan just a stock oem oil pan. Not a race or show $500 pan.
new would be nice new & cheap better. I think mine is done this will be the third bike this has happend to me with. Stripped threads that I know some will say helicoil teflon tape and so on...Never had luck with any of those.:banghead:

Finger tight on the new one. You're obviously a monster

Don't have one man, but someone will, sorry bout the problem.

Lose the cheater pipe.. & scale down to 1/4 inch socket set, oh, & get a torque wrench :-) Helicoils will not take any more abuse than the OEM stuff. Play dainty like with these things, think sweet little bunny or something. :beerchug:

I'm telling you guys I did not over torque if anything it's that fuggin aluminun
Threading they plug hole needs to be some type of steel insert.
I don't know just one more thing to do:banghead:

Well if this is the 3rd time it's happened, I would say you probably are (without realizing it) over torquing. It's only 16 lbft if I remember right. That's not much at all. That pan won't take much more than the specified torque, so being as it's a recuring problem I would sudjest getting a torque wrench.

I have a torque wrench, That's not the problem I need a new oil pan.
thanks

If you aren't using a torque wrench, you're overtightening it. If you ARE using a torque wrench, time to get it recalibrated.
