where on your Busa did you install your PCIII?

I'm in the process of installing BDE Hindle system and was curious where you put your PCIII. Just exactly where in the storage under hump? Or even if you got creative and put it somewhere other than there. Any pics? Brian

Right under the seat just towards the rear of the bike it's really the only place to do it. Look at Tom's web page it on it.

In the trunk under the hump, there was so much extra cable and thats where dynojet said to put it. You cant really see it unless you take it out.

I put mine under the hump as recomended too but I sort of like Warbaby's placement better.

i was going to put mine under the seat origonally but figured with my luck as soon as i sat on the seat something would touch the buttons and screw up my map,i have some more electronics going under the seat soon,so i think i will give it a try

I finally figured out that my bike was running like shid because of this exact thing....the way my PC3usb sits on the ECU puts the buttons right underneath a ridge on the bottom of my gel seat (only about 1/4in above the bottons)...I believe the seat is flexing on bigger bumps in the road and hitting the buttons on the PC.

Moving to trunk today.

Hmmmmm... very interesting! My PC3R has been there for a couple of years (with a gel seat) without any contact problems.

this is where I have mine, but the only thing is it doesn't allow for easy access adjustments.
