Spured on by WWJD's question about where to eat, (and since I didnt want to hijack his thread ) I thought a few here would be interested in this info so I started this topic.
I do a ton of touring (did the hard bags give it away?) and since I'm always(yes, always) the trip planner and trip leader I have to lead everyone to food. Now how the hell would I do that in areas where I've never been to in my life? Well, the biggest help to me is this place:
RoadFood
The definition of "Roadfood" is your typical greasy spoon place with good cheap eats. If you go to the resturaunt section and hit your state you will see places like that reviewed. If you are just looking for good places to eat that are not necessarily "roadfood" but just good places to eat go to the forum area and do a search in the "Where should I eat" forum for the city you are interested in.
That place owns if you are ever doing any traveling. Everytime I travel somewhere I punch in a few of those places on my GPS and end up having great meals instead of eating at places like McDonalds.
So next time you're planning a bike trip and want to eat like a king remember www.roadfood.com
