I think what the guys are getting at is that it's sorta up to you. If your experianced, and you've been practicing then right about 4-5K is Ideal. If your like me and you just wanna take the clutch outta the picture then I launch at about 2K and simply flop the clutch and get to work on the throttle... Avoids the whole ON/OFF Clutch issues the Busa has. May cost in 60' times but out in the streets it simply allows you to get on the power within about 10' of moving without fuggin with the clutch... Works just fine.
what launch....... i hear cape canaveral has been doing a fine job with the shuttle for the last few decades..... j/k
no seriosly Revilis put it best just use caution when trying to do it.
Start just above idle and then gradually work your way up.If it bogs, go up higher. I personally come out the hole at 6000rpms, but I have an extended arm.
