Where to reconnect the Coolant Reserve Tank?

Hi, I am new to the forums and I have been doing a full clean out and replacement of parts on my bike. The other day I had a sand like build up in my reserve coolant container and it blew the top hose off its connector. I proceeded to remove the reserve tank, drain the coolant, and now I want to reinstall the reserve tank. I have referenced my repair manual and it mentions the reserve tank but not where to connect it I know the one end that goes to the radiator cap, but don't know where the other end goes if anyone can help that would be great. Thanks!

Thanks a ton, just wanted to make sure it wasn't supposed to be connected to anything, time to move to radiator removal as my bike still overheats but thanks again really appreciate it

did you burp the system to remove the trapped air?
