+1. As much as we disagreed on some things I enjoyed meeting him at the bash and still have a couple things he gave me.
Been a long time
He no longer enjoys the crowd here and went on his way quite a while ago.
He‘a a smart guy, had some cool threads on product reviews and his busa was awesome! He sold it and then bought it back but, didn’t stay here for long after he shared that the busa was back in its original home. He’s truly missed around here (at least I miss his posts), even though as @Blanca BusaLess mentioned, a lot of members used to get in some passionate discussions about social and political matters…. Just like people do now, I guess.
He is a decent guy who knew his way around a Hayabusa...if you look at the picture of his bike you will note some very tasty goodies on it...
He sold that bike but later bought it back.......he also had a BMW1600GT which he loved but it had a terminal transmission problem so he traded it for a GS1250 which he loves....
Once in a while I hear from him and Mr Brown....two great guys and are missed here.
I disagreed with him politically now and same as now years ago here probably but never meant anything personal. But we met at the bash years back talked, ate a bit, hung out by the campfire. Amazing what in person does. You realize we are all mostly the same.
When I got back here a few weeks later I got a tube in the mail. Inside it were two 24x36 poster pics made by him of me and my bike from the bash. Still hanging on my walls.
Wish he would come back so we could argue some more.
