Fellas-

In the past I have seen different members referred to certain folks when they are looking to buy pipes and accessories. Any one out there got some good prices on some slip-ons for my '04?? Feel free to PM me as well.

Thanks-

Cheese-

Slip-ons was my thought only because I do not have the $$$ for the Ignition mapping items right now. I don't want to do anything that is going to screw with the way it runs right now. Umless of course you have suggestions?

...I did the same mistake. I went and bought slip-on ... which absolutely did nothing to add some performance benifit to the busa. I got so desperate to increase some power on the busa, that I ended up ordering a full system again. Believe me when I say it... dont waste your money on bolt-on's. I mean... goot bolts dont come cheap! If you were to but a yosh carbon fiber bolt-on, you will end up spending a lil more than 800$ .... on the other hand you can get a full exhaust system for about 1100 - 1200 $$, and it adds a performance edge to your bike.

I suggest you wait ... save up some dough and go for the full system at the first shot.

Think about it... you wont regret putting in a full exhaust system!

Dont know how you are on hand me downs but you can get a good used system and pc for about 900bucks

Bolt ons are a waste of money if your looking for more power....1-3HP and a better sound is all your going to get. You won't feel any difference, only hear it. A full system with a PC and a custom map, and you'll see a 10-15 HP increase. Save up your money and do it right.

Definitely forego the slip ons and go for the full system. You will definitely not regret it a bit, and will have saved yourself some money.

Fair enough.

I know you all are right. I am just anxious to make her more "noticeable".

I guess I will have to be satisfied with my new gearing for now!
