Which Model Do I Have?

I have a 2000 Hayabusa (originally blue/silver)

How do I tell if it's K1, K2, K3, X or Y? I've no idea what the differences are. I'd just like to be sure before I order some parts. The bike has the 99 black and silver bodywork and tank now. If that makes any difference.

good morning, you have a gen1 hayabusa. when u buy parts, any parts from 1999-2007 will fit ur busa. good luck.

If you have a 2000 model Hayabusa...you have a 2000 model Hayabusa. What's not to understand?

i looked at getting a nose cowl online i think it was from bikebandit or somewhere similiar and there was 4 different models for the same cowl. the Y and K and XZ or something, anyway, i ended up calling them to find out for sure(I forget now it's been so long) so if you have any doubts about something, call and verify before buying...

Over the years many of the Gen1 parts are NOT the same...most of the '99-'00 is, but later Gen1's they made some minor changes.

Ok, thanks. I was confused because the ron ayers website was listing x,y, k1 and k2 parts all under the listing for the 2000 model.
