I have a Sigma chain on the way and will change my front sprocket. What manufacturer do you recommend?
I will stay 17 tooth.

If you are staying with the 17 use the stock one it has the dampners on it.

Mr Cheese, I just recieved the OEM 17 tooth sprocket, they were on backorder.

In your technical best explain the construcion and effectiveness of the rubber dampers - Please!

the rubber dampners are there to dampen chain noise that is all they do.

You may need to use an impact driver to remove the allen bolt holding the speed sensor part from the countershaft. There is some Super Loc Tite holdiong it together.

I read about that here months ago, thanks to who ever posted that.

BTW--139.95 for the chain, $58 for the stock sprocket. Anything unusual about the front sprocket change on the 1300?

Midwest action cycle. They sold me the stock airbox for $164 a while ago.
