I need a new set of sprockets.

I picked up a set of vortex 17/44 pretty cheap.

However, I am hearing bad things about them...

What suggestions do you have?

The target bike is riden pretty hard... holeshots & wheelies...

Thanks.

Do you ride hard, like this guy?

Get AFAM sprockets. Chromemoly up front and nickle coated steel in the back if yer a hard baller. I wouldn't mess with aluminum on a busa or any other bike with as much weight and torque. That much torque pullin' that much weight is bound to make for wicked fast sprocket wear if you go aluminum.

I went with AFAM for my 43t rear on Da Train. Was happy with the apparent quality. Check out www.sprocketcenter.com for good service and decent pricing on AFAM for the busa.

I got the 16T/42T from AFAM also. Steel option for the rear. Went direct to <a href="http://www.afamusa.com/sprocket-apps/suzuki-sprocket-apps.html">AFAM Sprockets<a> for application and ordering.

YES best bet. You do not need more then that until you go ovr 200hp the look at special made Titanium. Or SS steel.

The "STUNGUN" ate alot of sprockets and that was before she got boost...Been with AFAM every since and no noticeable wear...Thanks NE...

no sense in going with aluminum.. only reason to go with it is the weight savings and well unless u are all out racing u dont need it. steel is the way to go. like a few said afam
