Which Wrist Watch company came out and wasn't selling because people
thought of it as a generic product, so the company upped the price and
it sold big time?
Swatch Watch? - definitely generic looking and only expensive in terms of the quality (or lack there of) and at the time around $30 was a mark-up back in the 80's.
Say ROLEX first came out and people said yea $20 for that crap ok I am not buying it so the company suffered from no sells, So ROLEX got smart and said ok we will up the price to $400 then people changed their mind about the product.
