Whistler Road Trip in June 2004

I have Family and friends from back East in NJ coming to visit this summer that all ride. There in a very large MC club with over 50 members http://www.thenexlevel.com. Every year when i travel back east, i always tell them that they need to come out West and ride some of theses roads, im always sending them pics of what we have here in the WA area. But want to do something different, i have heard so much about Whistler Mountain from different people , i guess its time for me to see what the hype is all about. We had a decent group travel to Ca this summer, but this one will be HUGE!!!!!!!!!!

havoc:  if you're talkin' Whistler, BC, I can tell you the Sea to Sky highway is very sweet!  I haven't done it on my bike but by car a few times and one of my brothers lives in Vancouver and has ridden it.  However, I hate to rain on your parade but you should check when the construction will begin in anticipation of the 2010 Winter Olympics to be held in Vancouver... some of the events will be held in Whistler and the plan is to improve the highway to handle the traffic... It seems early to start in 2004 but the way the gov't moves in BC... well, you get the idea... If it's not Whistler BC, my apologies...carry on....

Not sure how many coming from back east yet, still to early to tell, but its in the works, ill have plenty from my Vancouver crew thats willing to roll.

I was skiing on Whistler Mtn. once. Roads should be nice for bikes. Watch out for bear though. Seen one (prolly a cub) sitting by the road.

i just went to AAA to get some maps and routes for my peeps and im getting geeked already, i thought Laguna was fun but this will be off the chain !!!!!!! Guess ill have to leave Thinker/Cache behind on this one

I only have time for one trip also, I been to Laguna Seca for the last couple of years travelled the coast all the way down and inland on the last one. So this year we wanted to see and do something different. IM looking forward to this one.
