Who else thinks this undertail is OVERPRICED!

well the top gun tail is $250 and iceman's leds I "thought" were $200 for tail lights ONLY. so if it was $200 for tail lights and say $100 for blinkers thats $550.....so no I don't think its super out of line.

That tail is not over priced!!!!!!!!!! I have one and paid 425.00 with Libertek LED's and I would have paid 500.00. It is the best fitting tail on the market and the lights are phenomenal. I had some issues with the tail and the lights and both companies sent me new stuff for nothing no questions asked and said send back the old after you get the new installed. There is not a better tail on the market IMO. If you think that is over priced you need a new hobby.

I think all undertails are overpriced and not worth it, not to mention that many do not fit that well. I am actually planning on removing mine and going back to stock. Why? Because most afternmarket undertails do not "seal up" as well as stock and if you get caught in the rain (we all do sometime) everything in the trunk area gets wet, not to mention the nice black stripe it puts on your back becuase the fender is gone.

My Mototeck undertail and hugger will be up for sale as soon as I can remove it if anyone wants a deal. I simply ride to often in the wet and must have the fender.

well i like the stock tail light I just don't like that big ass fender on the back so I hacked half of it off....

I feel the same way about after market under tails. They wouldnt be bad if they retained the stock light and avoided using surplus trailer lenses. The led equipped tails are a little nicer, but untill hot bodies comes out w/ a tail that looks like the one they have for that 03' 1000 Im stickin to stock. Just an opinion.

$450.oo for any fiberglass undertail is way to expensive, fiberglass will crack and tear after a while, ABS plastic is what you want same stuff the body panels are made of, I have heard of some extreme graphics tails not fitting good and I have heard some fit good.

the big factor is, what color is it painted? does it match your bike, if its color painted then its about $100/150 too much for a new one.

you can get very good ABS undertails with good LEDs for around 300
