I did a search but can't find the link. Not the company, there is a board member that does it for $2-$300 I want to get in contact with them. I want to send my panels in ASAP!!

Yep Nick Smith, as stated above, $300 if you send your panels.  JWOLDBUSA also does em, same process, similar price.  Both very very worth it.  Nick has a web site as well.  He did mine.

Dawg stay away from race ready.com IMO.  they dont sand etc. I would add do any mods to the panels you want first. Once painted no cutting. Digigear flush mounts, switches, aww dat!

Ya race ready is a bunch of crap. I got them before I found out about this board. It looks like they don't even prep them or anything, then on top of that it looks like they spray paint it. I had mine sanded smooth and then sprayed the same color of the bike (with flex agent added to the paint)

Yeah, I was the one who tried to warn people about RaceReady.  After I chromed my bike, I wanted to really do something extra special.  Since Nick painted my mirrors, I knew he did superb work.  At the time, I was a little low on funds because of the house purchase and all, so I happened to find this place on-line called RaceReady.  I knew that I would eventually let Nick do mine, but I went ahead and ordered a set from RaceReady in the mean time.  Kept my originals for Nick's work.  Once I got them, I was very disappointed.  I'm by no means a professional, but I do know what clear coat looks like and what it's supposed to do.  When I called the guy at RaceReady, he swore up and down that the panels were clearcoated.  NOOOOTT!!!  He proceeded to tell me that I had to be extremely careful when washing my bike because anything mildly abrasive would probably damage the paint.  I could scratch the paint off just by slightly scraping it with my fingernail.  Now, he did match the factory color ('02 silver/grey) pretty good, but I had to get my painter friend, Chris, to spray a couple coats of clear coat over it.  No flex agent was put in the paint because if you slightly folded one of the panels, it would crack and peel just like a woman's fingernail polish.   I solely recommend not using RaceReady.  Even though the price is good, the worksmanship and quality is garbage.  When it comes to painting, the saying... "you get what you pay for" definitely holds true.  More of a rant than an opinion, but HEY!  Someone has to take a stand and make us aware.

I was just getting ready to send to race ready. I have the black/blue 02, and the blue is hard to match. I was wondering why the guy here was charging so much compared to Race Ready, but if he did that shi**y of a job then I'll forget and get someone locally to paint them for me. Thanks for the heads up.

Just remember it is very hard to get primer to stick to plastic. He uses an adhesive primer to get it to stick. He also do Hayabusa mirrors mine were done w/logos.
